Baltimore doesn't get the respect it deserves (no thanks to "The Wire"). But we have plenty of love for the Old Line State's biggest city, and why shouldn't we? It's the home of the Inner Harbor, Babe Ruth and some fine, fine properties. Exhibit A, this $8.5 million bayside beauty in Baltimore City.
Situated literally on the harbor, this six-bedroom, 10-bathroom double townhouse boasts the most breathtaking array of waterfront city vistas you could imagine. Plus, the decor is divine. We're talking glossy wood detailing, crown moldings, plush carpeting, fireplaces, built-in bookshelves, glass walls and a stunning spiral staircase. Ample light streams through massive windows at every angle, illuminating the 9,069-square-foot space. See more detail in the gallery below.
Then there are its luxury amenities: smart-home technology, an elevator, a home theater, a sauna, and multiple decks, including the 75-foot roof deck -- with spa. If that doesn't make you want to move to Baltimore, then we don't know what will.
Karen Hubble Bisbee of Coldwell Banker has the listing.
