First, Karen Perry endured divorce. Then, the death of all three of her children along with her ex-husband in a plane crash. Two months later, is this Arizona woman about to lose her home?

Perry, who has suffered enough heartache for a lifetime, will be moving out of her home in Gold Canyon, Ariz., after the financial troubles brought by her divorce from her late ex-husband, Shawn, forced her to put it up for a short sale.

And it's not just any home -- it's the house where Perry's now-deceased children were raised, KPHO reports. When Perry moved into the four-bedroom home with her then-husband six years ago, she was newly pregnant with her third child, Luke. Her second child, Logan, had just begun to walk. It was a home that held almost a decade's worth of happy family memories that Perry holds onto desperately -- so much so, that she didn't even have the heart to put her kids' toys away after her children, aged 6, 8 and 9, were killed.

The collective deaths of her loved ones, in a crash on the eve of last Thanksgiving in the Superstition Mountains, coupled with the prospective loss of her home, has taken its toll on the struggling homeowner.

"There's days that I wake up that I feel like someone's poured cement on me ... where I feel like I can't even move," Perry told KPHO. "I need all the help I can get right now."

Luckily, help is what she's been getting.

Perry has been flooded with thousands of letters of support and sympathy, including charitable donations from companies such as Delta Airlines, where Karen is a flight attendant.

Delta Airlines' Ladies Day Fund is currently offering to match donations to help Perry. They have already raised $10,000 in funds for their colleague, and have announced that until the end of January, they will match all donations by 15 percent, and until the end of February, they will match all donations by 10 percent.

You can donate to the Ladies Day Fund by mailing a check to:

Ladies Day Fun, Inc.
1000 Bourbon Street, #370
New Orleans, LA 70116

Arizona singer and songwriter Tina Vallejo also wrote a song in memory of Perry's three children titled, "Fly My Angel." The song can be purchased on iTunes, with a portion of the sales going towards Perry.

I am so sorry for her loss, I too have lost my son, then my other boy moved away because he couldn't handle the loss, my husband decided to walk out six months after the death of my son, and now I too am losing my home, I have tried for a hardship loan and the bank won't help, I have been told all of these losses has caused PSTD, all I can say is I know how loss can casue so much pain, I have been trying to put my stress all in Gods hands, and pray he will have a better path for me, I surround myself with friends, and my daughter who is 15 and suffering all the loss as well, I try to stay strong to help her thru all of this but my strength is getting low:( I will pray you will find peace and some help to save your home.

Grief of this magnitude is unimaginable. The shock and stress on the body, are significant. For example, the loss of a spouse or child are two of the highest stressors on the stress scales. Statistics support a surviving spouse or parent will experience a major illness in the 12 months subsequent to the loss. In addition, a sudden, traumatic, and tragic loss can produce sypmtoms of and/or diagnosis of post traumatic stress disorder. An additional change in employment or housing would create additional stress; increasing her potential for serious illness. This poor woman is suffering an incredible loss. She needs stability right now, and that will take time. Grieving is hard work. Morally, we are called to help each other. My husband was killed in an accident a year and a half ago. It is sad, but, until I experienced that loss, I had no idea how devasting grief could be. Big blessings to this poor mother.

In today's economic climate we all need to find ways to make our money go further. I know I was concerned about my Christmas shopping this year until I discovered an amazing penny auction site online.

The Web address is: auctiondeals.notlong.com

Penny auctions were new to me until a few weeks ago but now I am regularly saving hundreds of dollars on things like iPads, gift cards, cameras and smart phones. I even got a $200 Best Buy gift card there for $33. I did all my Christmas shopping there and I spent less and get more than ever before.

It happens all the time. You got a divorce, you should have figured you would have to move out. (The death of your exhusband and children shouldn't change that.)

Giving this women money for anything OTHER THAN counselling to deal with the loss of her family is ridiculous.
She needs help to deal with her grief, not help to keep a house that is way to large for her and unneccessary. She needs to live within her means.

| Report by Stephany Lowell - February 1st 2012 @ 12:58PM

I will pray for her, that is all I can do. I am glad there is help for her. In 2004 my son was killed in an accident Gary turned 32 July 13th on July 21st he was killed in an accident that was not his fault. We had 3 hurricanes. My ex and I were getting back together. Bill was 44 he passed away about 6 weeks after my son from metastized melonomia. We had a 4th hurricane. In Sept and Oct I had 6 friends pass away. Dec 23 I got a message on my answering maching I was fired from my job. In Jan I called my insurance company, I was underinsured. My mobile home was totalled. I did get a settlement of 10 thousand dollars. I paid a man, Coy to do all repairs on the home over 6 thousand dollars. He said he was a good christian man I could trust him. I had a reciept that all repairs would be completed at a later date. There was a lot of work. His wife had cancer I understood I have had a few buts with a pre cancer problem. I told him take care of your family the work will still be here. I spoke to him on a regular basis he said he would do the work. He never did the work and when I went to the police to try to get my money back they said the statute of limitations had run out there was nothing I could do. Jumping ahead to 2010 my 2 best friends passed away. I just had to attend the funeral of my oldest daughter. Melissa passed away Dec24, 2011. I tried to get help there was no help for me. I just wanted to let her know that whatever happens she can live through it. It may not be anything like the life you expected. People say God never gives you more than you can handle there are days I believe God thinks I am a lot stronger than I am. They also say what doesnt kill us only makes us stronger. I am surviving. I want to let her know if I can get thru all this you can get through what life has given you. It will not be easy. There are days you will want to give up.You will get through this. I am so sorry for your loss. You are not allone I understand what you are going through. My prayers and thoughts will be with you.

I do have a few problems here. Her husband was flying an airplane when he and the kids were killed. Does anyone here know how much it cost's to maintain/rent/hire a private plane? It's not cheap. With 3 young children with the divorce the court should have had a Life Insurance policy in place to maintain the children should the father die with this mother receiving those funds. Something isn't right here. Just saying

| Report by Gerard - February 1st 2012 @ 6:10PM

You have enough information to get it to her.

| Report by Mary Korey - February 1st 2012 @ 5:45PM

If she lost her family in a plane crash, there has to be insurance money... what happened to that???? I feel bad for her, but she should get an attorney and sue the airline...

| Report by Mick - February 1st 2012 @ 8:56AM

God Bless her. according to the Allen "looky here" West's of the world and the Newt Gingerich's and generally all right wing pieces of fecal, she is a loser and needs a bath and a job.

No, scumbag, just you. Grow up and don't interject things you know nothing about. It makes you look dumber than you are, if that's possible.

| Report by Jean - February 1st 2012 @ 9:34AM

You sir are a fool and an ignorant piece of the same fecal matter you accuse others of being. I know of no one on the right who would say such a thing. You obviously are a lib who wants everything handed to you and didn't get your hand-out lately so you're in a bad mood. This lady deserves all the help people can give her at this time in her life..she's just asking for temporary help to save her home because of the memories of her lost loved ones . And there's a diiference between people donating charitably to aid another human being in need and those like yourself who expect everything to be given to you!!!

| Report by Diane - February 1st 2012 @ 10:33AM

What the heck are you talking about! Why don't you write about the article instead of spewing your hate around. She needs help and prayer, not some fool talking politics as though those two men are President now and responsible for all of the problems!!!

My prayers are with her. I can't even imagine losing one of my children, much less all of them. She needs prayers and time to heal more than anything else. Maybe her life plan is to move from this house and start new, just not yet!

| Report by Isabella - February 1st 2012 @ 12:55PM

Hanging on to a house will not help her move on and get better. The woman needs to get counseling, let the house go and start building a new life.

There are thousands, if not millions of people, who have gone through heartache, lost their homes when they bacame sick or a breadwinner passed away. There is no difference here. She is luck she has a job. I wont be sending any of my money and I hope others have the sense to keep theirs as well. Life is tough. Things happen. Move on.

| Report by Ann - February 1st 2012 @ 11:01AM

You sir are despicable and should not have access to a computer. What a horrible thing to say. You should be ashamed of yourself. Get off the computer and go take a purge and a bath.

| Report by Brenda - February 1st 2012 @ 2:23PM

Your ignorance is obscene. You obviously only "think what you are told to think." Your comment is so typical of an uneducated liberal spewing hate over a political party. Its not about YOUR hate right now. Its about this woman and this horrible tragedy in her life. Abby, the woman that was on "The biggest Loser" lives in our town. She lost the love of her life and her children in a firey crash a few years back. It was horrible. Her family and her faith got her through it. She is happy and whole today. It was hard, but she made it through. Prayers for this woamn as well. Its such a sad thing to hear.

| Report by Christie - February 1st 2012 @ 3:19PM

Mick, don't use someone's tragedy to make your pathetic and inaccurate political statements. You are so wrong. As soon as I find out if the organization raising money for Ms Perry is legit, I will send money to help her. I am hard to the right politically and I have every bit as m uch compassion as you lefties claim to have a exclusive hold on. her kids died and she should get help and get to stay in the house where she has so many memories until she's ready to move on. Show your support for this lady or just shut the hell up.
